ABOUT

Design is problem solving.

A seemingly tiny revelation, but one that fills my over-eager improvement soul with joy.  If something has been continually reinforced for me it is that design is not about ideation or ‘what’s cool’. It’s about establishing your goals for the experience and then being able to draw from the hundreds of ideas around you the ones that best support those goals, the heart of what the experience is meant to be, and answer to the question before you. Design is problem solving.

I love making things for people that will add a little happy to their lives- and I love facing challenges and finding solutions with others. Making cookies (a favorite hobby of mine) does one of these things for me. Designing games fulfills both.
